RMA & Warranty

We are committed to you having a pleasant customer experience here, at Codex Office Supplies. We ensure that we provide the highest quality products for competitive prices. However, we know that sometimes there might be a minute number of products that may have factory faults or issues. Below are our return and exchange policies for any of those products you may have an issue with.


RMA Policy

  • Original invoices are required for all returns and exchanges.
  • All products to be exchanged or returned require goods to be in their original packaging complete with all manuals and accessories.
  • Items with physical, liquid, or power damage (including burns) or with the warranty seal broken CANNOT be returned or exchanged. The warranty on these items are considered void.
  • Defective items (once checked) & satisfying the above conditions and under the warranty period will be exchanged or credited with a credit note. Please note checking of defective items may take up to 10 business days.
  • Returned opened items which are in working condition will attract a 20% restocking fee.
  • Returns can only be made within a 14 day period of the original invoice.


Warranty Information

  • Calculators, headphones, headsets, cables, adapters – 14 days
  • Keyboards/keypads, mice, memory cards, flash (USB) drives, drive enclosures, speakers, card readers, chargers, cash drawers – 30 days
  • Tablets, webcams, USB adapters, internal/external optical drives – 3 months
  • UPS batteries, UPS, surge protectors, routers and switches, add-in cards, computer cases, power supplies, external hard-drives,  –6 months
  • Motherboards, processors, printers, memories, internal hard-drives, monitors, laptops, pre-built computers (warranty void without power protection) –1 year
  • Pre-owned/refurbished items –14 days
  • Warranty for HP products is handled solely by HP. Call (1)800-711-2884 for HP support.
  • NO exchange or warranty on blank CD/DVD and software.
